Casa Cubana threatening public riots over Bill C-32?
In Casa Cubana’s latest press release which, as we’d expect expresses their disdain for regulation of their kid friendly products, they have suggested:
Although not prone to civil disobedience, otherwise honest, hard-working, tax-paying and law-abiding Canadians have since felt compelled to take a very public and dangerous stance against Bill C-32.
Oh Casa Cubana, we aren't trying to put you out of business - bill C-32 requires:
- your industry put the appropriate picture warning labels on your packages
- not sell your products in packs less than 20
- remove flavours obviously aimed at kidsĀ
If you were really interested in protecting kids and were only targeting your products to adults, you’d acknowledge that none of these measures prevents adults from purchasing your products.
