Bill to protect kids passes
Bill C-32, An Act to amend the Tobacco Act, just received Third Reading in the House of Commons with all-party support.
The bill will ban advertising in all newspapers and magazines in Canada.
The bill will ban flavoured cigarettes, little cigars, and blunt wraps, with an exemption for menthol.
The bill was approved in the House of Commons Standing Committee on Health yesterday. Some technical amendments were made, with the approval of the Committee. To see the bill as amended, visit:
